The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have released more details on their new assessment approach.
The new update shares the start dates planned by area, up to March 2024. The new assessment will start by region, however trust well-led assessments will begin from 6th February in all areas.
Between 21st November to 5th December the early adopter programme has been underway involving a small group of providers. Learning from the early adopter programme will be used to help improve the implementation of the new changes.
