This conference focuses on reducing and managing pressure ulcers in care homes. Pressure Ulcers are a common issue in care homes. In addition to reducing distress and negative outcomes for residents, the avoidance of pressure ulcers will also lead to a reduction in use and cost of dressings, reduced hospital admission and save staff and nursing time.
