International Nurses Day

International Nurses Day is taking place on 12th May 2021, this is a day to celebrate nurses and the crucial role they play in ensuring patient safety and leading high quality care. The theme for IND 2021 is 'Nurses: A Voice to Lead' with the sub focus this year on 'A vision for future healthcare'.

“While there has been significant disruption to healthcare, there has also been significant innovation that has improved access to care. In 2021, we will focus on the changes to and innovations in nursing and how this will ultimately shape the future of healthcare.”
