The course has been designed by experienced AAR facilitators and is highly interactive. Focus is on practical and in-depth guidance on how to conduct an effective AAR meeting in a healthcare setting. Materials, content and the Frequently Asked Questions section have also been linked to the current Patient Safety Incident Response Framework.
The course is relevant to those who will be tasked with facilitating After Action Reviews in their organisation. By completing this training, learners will have a full understanding of how to manage the AAR process and lead an AAR meeting. We have also supplied information to learners on how to identify learning outcomes and complete the new national AAR summary template. In addition to the above, we have built in frequent reflective exercises and knowledge checks to ensure that learners understand key content and information.
